BRA has been chosen as one of three National Finalists for the 2011 Biosecurity Farmer of the Year Award.  This is a national recognition of the significant BRA commitment to Biosecurity with respect to ensuring all of our activities minimise the spread of weed and diseases. 

This is also a recognition of BRA understanding of the importance of Biosecurity for the overall agricultural industry, our very good working relationship with the relevant government authorities such as Quarantine Tasmania and AQIS and our continuing leadership role in developing improved Biosecurity procedures and processes in conjunction with our staff, contractors and government authorities
