BRA Services

Since its establishment in 1996, BRA has been building, from the ground up, the most technologically advanced pyrethrum industry in the world. From modest beginnings, BRA now supplies in excess of 60% of the world pyrethrum market from the fertile fields of the northern Tasmania, and from 2011, from Ballarat in Victoria. For some years, we have been aware that the skills acquired through the development of pyrethrum can be applied elsewhere, and since 2001, we have been establishing a line of medicinal herb crops, such as echinacea and artemesia. The company’s future direction lies in diversification into growing and processing of high-value crops, and in consulting on research in this sphere. BRA is a Tasmanian based and owned company that has expertise it can export well beyond Tasmania. We offer consulting services in a wide range of agricultural research including analytical chemistry, testing new crops, examining plant disease and harvest contracting.
